Dr. Joe Fonke
Doctor of chiropractic
Owner, Webster Certified
Dr. Joe’s journey into chiropractic care is deeply personal. Born after a traumatic birth, he faced significant developmental delays in communication, behavior, and motor coordination. Despite extensive medical evaluations, doctors were unable to offer answers—only a diagnosis that he would never develop “normally,” labeling him as borderline Autistic. By age four, he still wasn’t speaking and was experiencing frequent behavioral outbursts.
Everything changed when Dr. Joe’s uncle, chiropractor Dr. Jerome Fonke, introduced his family to chiropractic care. He explained the body’s innate ability to heal when the nervous system is free from interference. Under chiropractic care, Dr. Joe began speaking, his behavior stabilized, and his parents witnessed a profound transformation. So much so that they both enrolled at Life University to become chiropractors themselves.
Dr. Joe grew up experiencing the power of chiropractic firsthand. Over the next sixteen years, he exceeded every expectation—graduating with honors from high school and college, participating in athletics, and building strong relationships. Inspired by his own story and the healing he experienced, Dr. Joe felt called to follow in his family’s footsteps. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic with honors from Life University and has since dedicated his life to serving families through natural, neurologically based care.
He is a certified Webster Technique practitioner, providing specialized care for expecting mothers, and is passionate about whole-family wellness, from birth through every life stage.
Outside the office, Dr. Joe is committed to advancing the chiropractic profession and advocating for medical freedom and civil liberties. He also enjoys time outdoors, volunteering, and making memories with his family.
LIFE TOGETHER
Dr. Joe met his wife, Dr. Kim, while studying at Life University. The two married on November 22nd and now live in Winston-Salem with their six children: daughters Annabelle, Catherine, and Sarah, sons Patrick and Joseph, and their precious angel baby, David, born sleeping at 20 weeks.
Dr. Joe and Dr. Kim are honored to walk alongside your family on the journey toward true health, healing, and lasting vitality.

A graduate of Northern Michigan University with a B.A. in Biology, Dr. Hart knew early on she was called to the healthcare field—but not the kind that masked symptoms. She wanted to help people heal from the inside out, addressing the root causes through natural, restorative care.

Dr. Kaci Brown
Doctor of chiropractic
Family Chiropractor, Perinatal & Pediatric Care
Dr. Kaci’s journey into chiropractic began with a deep appreciation for the body’s innate wisdom. After earning her BFA in Communication Design and a minor in music from Texas Tech University, she became a Registered Yoga Teacher—an experience that opened her eyes to the incredible potential of the human body. She loved helping students discover what they were capable of, and that passion for unlocking human potential led her to Parker University, where she graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Driven by a desire to serve growing families, Dr. Kaci became Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and fell in love with perinatal and pediatric care. She believes the body is divinely and intelligently designed from the very beginning, and she feels honored to support families from preconception through childhood and beyond.
Currently pursuing her 200-hour CACCP pediatric certification through the ICPA, Dr. Kaci is committed to deepening her knowledge and skillset in caring for infants, children, and expecting mothers. She also holds extensive training in the Gonstead technique and is listed in the Nervous System Chiropractic Directory—a reflection of her commitment to specific, neurologically focused chiropractic care.
When she's not serving families in the office, Dr. Kaci enjoys embroidery, yoga, reading, baking, exploring the outdoors, and attending concerts and comedy shows with her husband. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence to everything she does and is passionate about helping each individual feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
